PRINT > PRINT |
- Click the Print button on the toolbar, or right-click
in the map and choose PRINT > PRINT.
- Click Properties button, and then select Landscape
for the orientation.
- Click OK and then OK or Print button on the next
window.

PRINT > PAGE SETUP |
- Click the Page Setup button on the toolbar, or
right-click in the map and choose PRINT > PAGE SETUP to add the
Title, Legend, Scale Bar, North Arrow, URL, and/or Time and Date to
the printed map image.
- Then use the Print command to print the map.

SHOW BLACK & WHITE MAP |
- Click the Friendly button on the toolbar to print the
map in black and white (no color).
- Then use the Print command to print the map.

SHOW COLOR MAP |
- Click the Colors button on the toolbar to print the
map in color (only visible if the Friendly button was clicked).
- Then use the Print command to print the map.

COPY > COPY |
- Right-click in the map, and then choose COPY > COPY from the popup menu,
or click the Copy button on the toolbar.
- Switch to the application in which you want to paste the map view.
- Choose EDIT > PASTE.

SELECT |
- Click the Select tool on the toolbar or by choosing SELECT > SELECT
from the popup menu, and then click the feature. This selects the feature and
deselects all previously selected features.
- Shift-click the feature adds the feature to the group of previously
selected features.

PAN |
- Click the PAN button on the toolbar, or right-click in the map and choose
PAN from the popup menu. Notice that the cursor changes to a
"hand."
- Press the mouse button and drag to move the map around.
- Release the mouse button to redraw the map and show the new view.

ZOOM > ZOOM |
- Click the ZOOM button on the toolbar, or right-click in the map and choose
ZOOM > ZOOM from the popup menu.
- Click a point to be the center of the redrawn map.

ZOOM > ZOOM OUT |
- Click the ZOOM OUT button on the toolbar, or right-click in the map and
choose ZOOM > OUT from the popup menu.
- Click a point on which to center and redraw the map.

ZOOM > ZOOM PREVIOUS |
- Right-click in the map, and then choose ZOOM > PREVIOUS from the
popup menu or click the ZOOM PREVIOUS button on the toolbar

ZOOM > UNZOOM |
- Click the Unzoom button in the toolbar, or
right-click in the map and choose ZOOM > UNZOOM in order to view
the map of the entire county.

VIEW > VIEW REPORTS |
- Select the map features about which you want a report.
- Right-click in the map, and then choose VIEW > REPORT from the popup
menu, or click the Report button on the toolbar to display the View Report
dialog box.
- Choose the report you want to view, and then click OK.

MEASURE |
- Click the Measure button in the toolbar
- Click in the map where the starting point to measure
will be.
- Continue to click the lines you want to measure,
double-click the end point to get the final measurement.

STOP |
- Stop or interrupt the map display from updating and
dynamic amp layers form downloading.
|
 |
HELP |
- Open the online help to get information about viewing
maps.
|
 |
CLEAR SELECT |
- Clears any map feature that is selected.
|
 |
SELECT > RADIUS |
- Click the Select Radius button in toolbar.
- Click in the map (where you click will be the center
of the circle) and drag the mouse.
- Release the mouse to select the circled area.

SELECT > RECTANGLE |
- Click the Select Rect button in toolbar.
- Click in the map (where you click will be the
top-left of the rectangle) and drag the mouse.
- Release the mouse to select the rectangle area.

SELECT > POLYGON |
- Click the Select Poly button in toolbar.
- Click in the map where you want to start the selected
area, click the around the outside parameter of the area you want to
select.
- Double-click to close the polygon and select the area.

AREA MEASURE |
- Make sure entire area being measured is in view, click the Area Measure button in toolbar.
- Click inside the map where the starting point to measure will be.
- Continue to click around the area you want to measure (uses straight lines).
- Double-click the end point to get final measurements.

ELEMENT MEASURE |
- Make sure the entire area being measured is in the view, select the area(s) or parcel(s) to measure.
- Click the Element Measure button in the toolbar to get measurements.

GET POINT |
- Click the Get Point button in toolbar.
- Click inside the map where you want coordinates.
